Missed Period after surgery?!

I am going absolutely nuts here as I have never, ever missed a period EVER-unless I was pregnant. I have only one fallopian tube, and it was tied ten years ago. My hormone levels are normal, Iron normal-bloodwork PERFECT-just saw my doc yesterday as I had this done post-op just to make sure I was ok.

So LMP was December 14th...It is now January 19th and I am typically on a 30-32 day cycle at most. I had a normal period the month of my surgery and also afterwards.

I FEEL like I am going to get it...all the bells and whistles...hormones raging, nausea, sore back, headache, some cramping...for the last two weeks.

But nothing.

So, a: is it normal to not get a period after surgery?

b: What are the frigging odds I got pregnant??!!! I am six days late.

It maybe the anesthesia . When I had my knee done ( orthoscopic) my period was late almost 2 weeks late .That's what my dr said .

My surgery is coming this Thursday :)))))) So nervous ans so excited !!

Surgery messed with mine. I had one *immediately* following surgery (2 weeks after my last). Then nothing for over a month, then a normal, then a super light... you get the picture. Between the surgery and the weight loss, nothing in that department is normal any more. =\

I am getting sleeved on Jan 23rd. In our Dr s program we are told to use double contraception after the sleeve until we can go back on our pill or IUD or more permanent form of birth control because weight loss fast like this makes us extra fertile. I hope it is just your hormones out of whack from the surgery.
