Preop Done!

Well, I went for my preop today! Was an all day ordeal. Got there at 8:30 and left at 2:30! But its done. Will start my preop diet tomorrow, not fun,and having surgery early Jan.30th!!! Yay! Today made it VERY real! Getting nervous but excited! I am real nervous about my blood sugars after surgery. I am a type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump and It's goin to be tough. Heard first couple of days of preop diet are the hardest. Lord give me the strength needed to do this cause I know I can!

You can do it. Keep your eye on the prize, but make sure you care of yourself too. You don't want your diabetes to get out of control too.
