Curious. Are there any MD's or surgeons that are members of this site or contribute to the forums?

It would be nice to see responses from medical professionals, but I could also understand legally why they would not provide advise on a message board.

I have never seen anyone on here admit to being a Dr, but as you say that may be due to liability concerns. I have seen several nurses who give good medical advise. p.s. I am a paramedic and sometimes have a clue myself, lol.

I didn't think so, I am just concerned that posters are asking medical questions that some are responding with a diagnosis and providing questionable advice.

If there are they probably wont say. I hsd reservations about clearly identifying myself as a nurse.

I did notice that someone identified himself as a physician joined the board yesterday, but only to share his personal story. Thanks.
