I'm about to begin training for one myself.I did not want to start running until I was under 200#(my rule) just trying to avoid shin injuries. I've been riding bikes and walking to building up my cardio. I'm under now and will keep you posted how it is going. I've read a couple of threads of people accomplishing this. Me and my 12 year old are running our 1st 10k in March.
