PPI? I don't even know what that stands for lol. I had medications after but that only lasted for about a month post op.

7 days out from being sleeved and have had those instances of Heartburn occasionally.. Dr. Almanza gave us a take home ditty of medicine etc and found that the Milk of Magnesia liquid is working well when that comes on...Good Luck!!!

Well I am almost 5 months post op.

PPI stands for proton pump inhibitor. Maybe you should talk to your doctor about being prescribed some? Or look at the OTC heartburn options out there?

Oh ok, thank you.

zantac is helping me.

I was advised by my Bariatric team to take an acid releaver for the first 6 months. I am 7 months out and still take one occasionally is symptoms flare up
