Monthly Cost for Protein?

I noticed that using protein products like Unjury and Isopure can be costly. How much are you spending a month just to get some protein in?

They seem expensive but I actually did a financial analysis on spending on food pre wls and post wls. I am saving about $300 a month post wls on food.. I ate out a lot pre wls.

After my first week, I got most of my protein from normal food.

I spend roughly $60.00 a month on protein drinks alone. It's what I need so I can't complain

I have one shake a day. I buy a 12 pack of Premier Protein (from SAMs) for $18.88. I buy it twice a month. I spend roughly $40.00 a month on protein shakes

I'm using the ENS shakes (vitamins in the shakes). A tub is about $60 and lasts me a month. WAY cheaper than buying the vitamins separately, and like someone else said, I'm saving a small fortune not eating out!!

Isopure powder 3.5 lbs $50.00 directions say 2 scoops for 50 gram shake. I use one or two scoops a day depending on how much protein I have eaten.I try to stay at 100 grams min. Sometimes wifey will comment on the $$ cost of my new lifestyle,I say what we save in pizza and Chinese take out puts us at break even , dr copays for the heart attack I was eating towards is pure profit!!!
