Halloween: The Perfect Storm

Halloween candy + no fill + TOM = DISASTER!! :faint:

First fill is on Thursday...WOOOHOOO!!! :clap2:

And a small confession, I've gained three pounds in the last two weeks but I just can't bring myself to change that blasted ticker.

Poor thing - you have the trifecta going!

I'm planning to stay in my cubical as much as possible at work today. I know if I venture out, there will be treats everywhere. I've been doing good at not being that interested so far, but the sheer sugar onslaught might just wear me down.

Today is an all or none one for me. I find some foods I have to totally avoid and candy is one of them. Tons of empty calories slip right through the band. If I don't have ANY, I'm fine. If I have "just a taste" I'm doomed and keep eating.

What I do have on hand all the time are the fun size packets of M&M's. They are only 90 calories and satisty the chocolate need when it arises.

Happy Halloween!

I work from home, so I'm ALL ALONE with the great big dish of candy sitting on my foyer table. But I did it to myself first for buying candy that I like and second by opening those blasted bags and putting the candy into the cute little halloween dish!!

I've already warned DH that tomorrow morning the leftovers go to work with him or go into the trash.

You guys are reading my mind!!! There is a delicious looking caldron of yummy chocolate on my counter that has been hauntingly calling out to me. But alas, I agree--it's not worth it and once I pop I just won't stop. So...the candy remains for kids and will go *somewhere* by tomorrow! Good luck all!
