Are all lap surgeries about the same?

I had my gallbladder out a few years ago laproscopically and I'm wondering -- is a gallbladder removal similar to a sleeve surgery as far as pain and recovery time? With my gallbladder I went in on a Wednesday and was back to work on Monday. I know recovery won't be quite THAT quick with the sleeve but I'm curious if someone who's had both done could tell me how it compares?

    I had my gallbladder out a few years ago and the pain was identical. Hurt the first day and then just sore and hard to get comfortable. The worst part for me was being so tired for about 4 days. Just couldnt stay awake. Congrats to you and prayers for a smooth surgery.
