When did anyone start lifting weights after surgery

And was it light or back to normal

I can't remember exactly but I probably started around the 8-9 week mark. I hadn't lifted for months before surgery but I lift heavy. I like to feel some sort of muscle fatigue around the 5th or 7th rep. I worked with a personal trainer a couple of years ago, so I mostly use his program.
