Recent border problems?

So my mom said she's been hearing a lot about border issues. Not sure what she's talking about. I called and she was too drunk to explain. (Don't ask)

Any idea what she's talkin about?

I would just make sure that the name on the prescription med matches your ID and you should be OK.

When we came back through from Tijuana to the US, the border guard made us show him all of the medication we were given for our surgery. I have him my pain meds and he gave them back and said they were fine. Everyone's passport was checked and the guard did a facial verification with each one of us. Then we were good to go (after a two hour wait in traffic!!). This happened on Sunday, December 16, 2012.
