So noxious! ugh

2 weeks out of surgery and feeling really sick ????. Everything seems to smell funny to me, and i feel like vomiting all The time... Trying some diet ginger ale to ser if it helps, wishing this would go away so i could eat and drink enough to meet my fluid and protein goals... Will this ever pass???

Ginger ale, unless it's flat, is a no-no - the carbonation will fill you up with gas, which for most people is a real problem.

Have you discussed with your doctor? There are anti-nausea meds they can give you to help.

I know soda in a nono, I have let gotten flat before drinking, my first week I was drinking mostly water but now it makes me sick. I pretty much spit up everytime I eat... Got some medication for nausea, hope that helps... Can't drink any whey protein, will be trying some powdered soy soon to replace my shake, can't take any milk, only yogurt and white fat free cheese...i pretty much dislike food and eating... Hope it fades away as the weeks pass...
