Clear liquids today, include protein?

For the life of me I can't remember if my NUT told me to include Protein Drinks with my clear liquid diet the day before surgery.

Did you do Protein Shakes the day before?

To be on the safe side, I won't do them but I'm do annoyed that I can't remember!

Clear liquids does not include milk or whey proteins. The only protein I was allowed in the 24 hours prior to surgery was Isopure.

If you can't see through it, it's not clear.

:D

What Lisa said ;-)

Mine was, water, Gatrorade, broths, jello, things like that. I couldn't have anything that was purple or red in color ;-)

Good luck!

Isopure was on my okay list, too. But, they never said anything about food colorings (like red in jellow, etc).
