Here in Lockport actually ...lol..waiting to be approved

I had my approval last Wednesday they called to schedule the same day. Don't give up, I had originally had approval & was to have surgery Jan 8, but my company changed insurances Jan 1, so I had to get approved again from new insurance so now I'm on for Feb 27th.

I wanted to let you know I got my date... March 6th...about a week after you... keep me posted on your journey.

I had my surgery with Dr. Pham.. He's not at Synergy anymore. He has his own Practice. Love love love him!!!

dr, caruana did my sleeve 11/26/12, not doing well friggin hate his staff, unable to see him, i can only get appt with michelle. soo not happy

I am sorry to hear...what's going on that you are not doing well?? I am not a fan of his staff either...most of them seem cocky as hell..but I can deal with that..I heard nothing but great things about the Dr...thats why I chose him...are you having complications???

I have heard that. I have a friend that had his surgery the day after mine and another friend who had her surgery today by him and they both said the same thing. I'm sorry to hear that .

Wow, I have had no issue with his staff. Started all this back in June so have dealt with them quite a bit. Sorry you are having issues.

@pammie37 i have had pain since the surg. upper left. i slime all the time(hyper salivation) with WATER! i gurgle all the time, very embarrassing at work, i wad the test for stricture and it said "slow emptying" the PA said i was fine and implied i was "over-reacting", at that point i demonstrated drinking water, so she could see my problem, she left the room and sent in some underling to tell me i was done, i tried to make an apt. with dr car. and the said they would call me. that was dec 1st. yesterday i called them, they said they don't want to see me until i have another test. finally they gave me an apt with Michelle....Once they get your money forget it

I am sorry you are going through that..If I were you I would go to ER at Sisters..that way he will come see you and you can tell him how his staff is treating you...that is BS!!! I hope things turn around for you..

I left synergy and went to Dr Pham new practice since he had originally did my band in 2011. I had it removed in Nov 12 and went back to Pham to get the sleeve. He's excellent !

So to make it clear you waited from Dec 1 until yesterday for the dr office to call you? Did they want you to have this testing done when you were there on dec 1st? Not sure i understand why you would have waited so long or not seen your primary if you were having issues.

@new me sorry if i was not clear. 1st check up was dec 1. i told the pa my problems. she sent me for a test. no improvement. i called said i want to see dr car. i believe to be punitive they said they would call me for and appt. i have called 3x since then unable to get through the rabid front desk. until today.but they told me they really dont want to see me until i have the test again. honestly i would never have called again, but one of the post i read said never alienate the surgeon in case you need another surgery.
