Guilty- Smoking

So I quit smoking and have done very well up until this past week. Very bad. I smoke 2 cigs today alone. I don't have my surgery date yet but know it will be in Dec. need some help/support/encouragement. I know I need to cut this out pronto!

When I quit, I used the patches. They tend to give some people strange dreams if you wear them at night, though. For me, it was just kind of an added benefit to them :D

It also helps to have something close that you can distract yourself with.

Idk how much support i can give you but im totally in the same boat!!!! I know.i have got to quit like yesterday but man..... its tough!

I agree..use the patches. I quit on Sunday this past week and the patch has been great.

Now I will say keep a lot of gum or sugar free candy on hand. The thing keeping me going is I want my surgery to be successful and quitting smoking is part of that deal!! Hang in there!!

I used the blu's electronic cigs to wing myself off

I take chantix they work on the brain and make you forget about smoking,you just start taking them keep smoking and about a week to 10 days you go wow I just had a whole cup of coffee an hour ago and i haven't had or wanted a cigg

I'm still waiting for surgery date should be by the middle of Febuary how about you guys.I had to be smoke free for 3 months.just going to make it by about 1 week...lol
