Does The Gas Ever Go Away?

I'm 7 weeks post op and was just wondering if the gas ever go away with out taking anything for it?????

    I am 24 weeks out and I don't have gas and I can't remember having gas after my second or third week. I remember thinking back then that I was a burpy belchy mess. Now its only a memory.
