Resources For Stats, Details, Etc

I'm sure I'm the 1billionth newbie that's asked for this but if there's experienced folk out there who can point me in the right direction to some resources, I'd appreciate it. I already have a surgery date, but now loved ones are asking questions. I have the basic information, but I'd like to be able to point them to more official resources others found helpful for understanding the VSG procedure, benefits (pros), risks (cons), etc. LOL even my counselor wants hard core academic info!

Thanks in advance for your voices and links.
