Has Anyones Process Been Delyaed Due To Vitamin Diffciency?

Right before submitting all my papaer work to my insurance they decided to do some blood work and my b12, b1, and b6 came back low.

I know how important it is for my Vitamins to be intact being that we lose some during and after surgery.

Has anyone gone through this? How long did it take for your Vitamin intake to get back to normal? Thanks! :)

Good question ::bump:: I'm in the same situation. My paperwork was just submitted, and I got a phone call saying that my vitamin D was low. The doctor prescribed me a vitamin D to take, but I'm worried it will delay the process.

The Nurse Practitioner told me to drink for three months... i'm like WHAT!!!?!?!?? 12/12/12 will mark one year of my 1st appointment and i'm still here ughh! This is frustrating! I hope you don't have to drink it for a long time! Good Luck!

Hey I have the same issue with my vitamin d level

but my insurance still approved my

Surgery. So don't worry my sleeve date is 12/12/12. :-)

I was low as well... it took about 9 wks to get it in it's normal range. . I was on a multi vitamin a b1 complex vitamin and that green one they prescribe for low vitamin d

My vitamin D level is low too. Taking these green pills. Doctor prescibe 3

Most Americans have more D3 and many women are low on the B's. It shouldn't delay things but you may want to check with your surgeon just in case. Good luck! (By the way, I was low too. Post op and after taking supplements, all my levels are good.)

I had the same problem. My dr. just had me start pre-op D vitamins and I go once a week for b12 shots. It did not delay my surgery at all. Im getting sleeved 12/12/12.
