Three Weeks Post Op And Pain

I was sleeved on November 6 and I thought I was doing okay and last Friday I threw up and felt like I pulled something on my left side close to the bottom of the rib area. I called the doctor on Monday and they said not to worry and it was better on Monday and Tuesday now today the pain is back. Has anyone else had this?

i seen another post for this & i think they called it a spasm, did you cough before it hurt??

i was sleeved on nov 8th, & yesterday i started having really bad pain in back about where

my bra strap goes across, kinda got me worried too.

hope you feel better

sheila

I have the exact same thing and I also was sleeved on the 8th. Now what is gogin on??????

I've had a stabbing pain in the lower right side of my abdomen-- below my largest incision. I was also sleeved Nov. 6.

I saw my surgeon yesterday so he could be sure I was okay. He checked me for a hernia, hematoma and infection.

Everything looked good! He told me it was probably a muscle spasm. He said that because they have to cut through those strong abdominal muscles it's very, very likely that I'd have pain there. It should go away soon, hopefully!

It has been a week and a half and my pain is no better at all. I called the doctor and he said not to worry but this is really a long time to deal with this much pain. I have not been to the gym since the day before Thanksgiving and am really afraid working out will cause me more pain. Not sure what to do..
