Advice Please?

I had surgery wednesday 11/21 was released 11/22. I'm really sore. Can't sleep. Stomach is swollen. Can't really lay down. Can't get my liquids in. Really having a hard time. Any suggestions please. It would really help. Oh and I've been using spirometer to open lungs up.

Congratulations on your surgery!

I suggest warm tea - any kind will do but peppermint went down the best when I was first sleeved. I was also able to drink regular lemon lime gatorade. It gets better I promise!

I second warm liquids. For some reason since I've been sleeved any sort of cold thing makes me nauseated. If you want something savory, I'd recommend a brand called Better than Bouillon broth. It comes in a little concentrated jar and lasts a long time. That stuff is delicious.

Warm is soothing. I second the tea I had trouble with citrus crystal light, and milk products at first. Jello was good too.
