I live in Waggaman. I was sleeved 8/22/2012. I went to Mexico because my insurance didnt cover it.

MGM how was your experience I was just on Dr Alvarez website

I went to dr Kelly but have read a lot of good about dr Alvarez too. I didn't feel unsafe, my 19 yo son went with me and I'm glad I did it. No regrets. I'm losing slower than average due to health history, but IM LOSING! 250 day if surgery 213 now. 265 before preop diet. It has its hard times, but if you are emotionally ready, it's sooo worth it!

I've read so many good reviews about Alverez and I'm considering. So how was ur trip back on the plane? Where did u have to catch to plane to and was it expensive?

It was less than $500 round trip. I flew to I think Dallas first than San Diego. Flight home was on...considering my flight back to New Orleans got cancelled because of hurricane Isaac. I did get to fly into Biloxi and my sis came and picked me up. Take a couple fixes if dissolving gas x.

So how was ur experience, how much weight do u average a week?

I just came back from Nola today, it'll soon be my home, currently living in Houston, tx. My other half lives in Kenner. I went to Dr. Alvarez and can't say enough about him. I was sleeved July 7th, SW: 250, currently I'm 196.... Very happy!

What's your experience

I was sleeved Nov. 5th by Dr Treen at West Jeff. It has been great. It has been the easiest operation I have ever gone thru.His staff is very good.

I'm one month out and have lost 30# since surgery another 30 prior to. I feel great about to start going to the gym. I just walk and play basketball as my exercise now.

I just seen the surgeon to day and hes writting a letter and getting ready to sumit to my insurance company I have high hopes it took me 9 months to jump through hopes I didn't kno I had to do a six month diet program until 3 months after getting started and thank you for the prayers I'm too excited my nerves are so bad that's how bad I want it
