Had my surgery on Nov.2. I was out today winterizing my 4 wheelers & my bikes. One of the bikes had a dead batt. So I had to move it to reach the electrical cord. It was a small bike a liitle over 500 lbs & it whipped my butt. I use to move it around like nothing is normal to feel this weak? I'm not use to this.

Well you aren't getting in alot of calories first off so that will make you weak. Are you getting plenty of Protein and fluids? Also, be careful - you probably shouldn't be pushing something around so heavy, I was told not even to vacuum becasuse the push/pull is bad.

give it time, you are gonna gain strength and then some, for now take it easy and let your body heal.

I was also told not to bend over too much for the first 2 weeks.

I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow and I still nearly faint when I stand up from bending over! And my stamina is veeerrrryyyy slowly. I'm still whipped by the time I get home from work.

I'm just not use to being so weak. I usually take in 600-800 cal & 80grm of Protein I have a hard time getting in my fluids. I've always been a gulper when it comes to drinking. I find it difficult to go around sipping all day long. I know it's something I'm going to have to change.

You're not even on solid food yet, right? Give it time. You'll get there.

Yes, normal. I felt weak for the first 6-8 weeks in all honesty.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
