Surgery Yesterday...home Today!

I was sleeved yesterday and just got home today. Yesterday was a little rough, but feeling somewhat better today. I am anxious about started full liquid diet tomorrow. Anxious as in worried... not excited. I have a protein elixir I can use in place of shakes. I am just afraid I will not be able to get it down. Any advice or encouragement is welcome!

Remember to SIP and not gulp. Are you able to drink water now? If yes, how much?

I used a shot glass to measure out my liquids and dribbled a little down my throat every 15 minutes. If you have a problem with getting in protein (I could not drink the thick over sugary protein shakes) I used clear protein from Isopure 40gm from GNC. Just buy one bottle to see if you can tolerate.

Congratulations on being sleeved!

After my surgery, my doc had me on clear liquids first, I don't start full liquids until this drain comes out, but every Doc is different. I tried a protein shake yesterday, just for the heck of it, and was surprised how easily it went down. I do have to remember to sip and not gulp. I am sure you will be fine if you remember to sip.
