I'm 1 week away from surgery, scared but excited. I'm doing OK on the liquid diet but looking for others out there that are trying to eat healthy. I don't use artificial sweetners and try to eat organic as much as possible so it's a little challenging. I would love any input from like minded sleevers out there to help me in my journey.

Stevia is your friend. It's the only 0 calorie sweetener that's natural. It's come way down in price too. Works great in everything from herbal tea to plain greek yogurt. I also hate artificial sweeteners and am so glad to finally have a real alternative.

Yes, thanks I have been using stevia. I got some protein powder from Dr Mercola's website and see that Luo Han was used as a sweetner. Going to check it out. When I tried to find protein drinks in the store for preop I found all of them full of artificial sweetners. Bummer.
