Anybody have trouble receiving an expedited passport on time. Need mine for the 23rd. How fast did yall receive yours after applying?

I sent mine regular and total time for send and return was 12 days. Expedited will definitely be quicker. I wanted to avoid any holiday mailing.

I live in the LA area and went to the Federal Bldg. Had to wait like 2 hours but was able to pick up my passport the next day!!!

Go to http://travel.state.gov/passport/npic/agencies/agencies_913.html. There is an office in New Orleans. Also, if you want to expidited, you have to show proof of travel within 2 weeks and pay the expidited fee.

My husband and I chose the option to obtain the "passport card" instead of the "book". The card can be used for all land and sea travel. The passport card is also half the price of the traditional passport book. Ours came in about 3 weeks after filling out the order.
