Recently Sleeved

Hello!!! I was sleeved on 10/18, so I am officially 1 week post op. since surgery I have been on a clear liquid diet. Today at my one week follow up appointment the nurse clinician advanced my diet to full liquids. I was so excited to go home and plan my first "meal" post surgery. I was absolutely shocked at how quickly I felt full and how great something as simple as tomato Soup tasted.

Is anyone else out there recently sleeved? How is the diet progression going? Is anyone nervous about trying new foods?

  • Yes, I meant liquids. It felt like forever that I was on the clear liquids that tomato soup tasted sooo good to me. I will be on full liquids for 2 weeks before moving to puréed foods for 1 week.

When you say your meal, you mean liquids right? What point will you start having pureed foods?
