Booya Blender?

Did any of you go out and pick up one of those high end blenders, like the Blendtec or Vitamix for your liquid / puree diet phase?

If you did, was it worth it? Do you continue to use it?

I actually just bought the Ninja kitchen System and I love it. It is cheaper than the VitaMix (I bought the 1200watt system for $179 on the Ninja website). I haven't had my surgery yet, but I use it a lot for making fruit smoothies, etc.

I am pre sleeve, but I am attempting to be really prepared for my surgery. I even went on a liquid diet, the purée phase of the diet for a couple of days.

I have a blender and a magic bullet (blender thing). The magic bullet was much better at doing any of the tasks.

THEN....I purchased a Ninja. Wth? This thing could purée shingles off my roof - in case i ever wanted to eat them. I love this thing.

The difference? One is around $50 and the other is $100 or above (depending on the gadgets you like and I am a kitchen gadget *****) the ninja does make more in quantity so you can freeze, etc. but, with the amount we eat during that phase, probably doesn't matter much.

Hope this helps. :)
