I know testing is done prior to surgery at the hospital in Mexico, but did anyone (or is anyone planning) to have the same tests done that the US/insured sleevers have before going to Mexico?

Because I haven't had a physical in a long time and my current PCP is not supportive, I am switching to another PCP and thought of possibly having some of the tests done.

I didn't have tests done before going for surgery in Mexico, but trust me they are VERY thorough and do all the possible tests needed to make sure you are okay to proceed with the surgery. I had Dr. Garcia also. If you can get it done for free in the U.S. go ahead, but I say that it is not necessary.

I changed my thyroid medicine and wanted it rechecked b4 heading down there next month. I also included some typical chemistry panels and liver enzymes, also c reactive protein. I'm a member of Life Extensions and you can order the lab from them and go to certain facilities and have it emailed to you in a few days. It cost me about 150, but worth not having to try to get copy of my lab from pcp. I'm anal about keeping my records in chronological order (ha- first born of course).
