Wow you would of thought maybe 1 ha ha . My insurance requires me to go to Madison,Wi or Peoria,Il when there is surgeons in Rockford,Il where I am from. CRAZY HUH!

Insurance is pissing me off too! I've been denied for my BMI being below 35 in the past. It was 34.9

Talk about a bad taste in your mouth!!!!

OH NO!!! that is so wrong. It is not like your so away from their requirements? So where at are you in the process?

Mind you, I've been above a 40BMI for over 5 years but every time I went into the clinic, they never took my weight. They took all my vitals and temperature but no weight. I have completed everything for my insurance (6 nut visits, psych visit and met with the surgeon). All I have left is the endoscopy and pre-op visits.

I did the sleep study also.

Geesh...I sure hope you are almost done with your hoop jumping! I did a lot of them too. I don't know I have to do all those tests!? I go back in Dec for what I think is my last appt. I am hoping I will be ready for Jan, Feb at the latest

I have my back surgeon and my pcp doing a peer to peer with the insurance company. Hopefully that will make them approve me. Otherwise I can appeal, or wait til next November for my surgery. UGH.....so frustrating!!!!
