When Does Energy Level Increase

I am so tired of being tired all the time. I am fairly sure it's due to my weight and it just stinks. Looking forward to not being a big slug that wants to sleep all day long. I hear a lot of post ops raving about the energy they have and am curious when that happens for most. Is it just when you hit a certain weight? It would be nice to have that in mind to keep chugging along!

I had energy about 4 days out but I swear it had something to do with my blood transfusion. I am two weeks out and have more energy than I did before surgery for sure. I am sleeping better already and have to stop myself from doing stuff so I don't hurt myself. I keep forgetting about my weight lifting limit.

My post op diet is more liberal than some I have seen. I think it has a lot to do with the nutrition you are able to get in and taking your Vitamins.

when I began the pre op liver shrinking diet I couldn't sleep, but now I have upped my Cal's just by 200 I am sleeping a bit better, but am still waking up earlier and wanting to stay up, it does make me think how will I sleep after the op with such low Cal's going in, x

I start my pre op diet next thursday and am really nervous. I feel like i'm going to be comatose lol!

After the initial recovery from the surgery... I noticed increased energy around three weeks.

Regular exercise and getting enough sleep at night is the key to energy. That's true no matter how heavy you are. Get your heat rate up for a half hour every morning and you will be wide awake all day long.
