Dizzy/Light headed

Has anyone experianced any dizzyness or light headed feelings?

Last saturday I felt both. At times I felt like I could pass out. The feeling was sort of like the rush you can get when you stand up quickly. It feels like my blood pressure was low.

I used to get this really bad. I actually had blood pressure that was too low and I needed to up my salt intake. Now, I'm about normal. If I go salt-free for too long OR if I over hydrate I will get the 'head rush' feeling. Make sure you have enough salt and you're not over hydrating. When you drink lots of water you can actually get low on electrolytes. Just be sure you keep the blood sugar balanced and throw some salt in the mix. That should help.

do you take thyroid meds? Have you had it checked since surgery? I was getting the dizzy spells and turned out my thyroid med needed to be lowered as I lost weight. So, It is a good thing to remember that loosing weight changes everything so if you take any meds, have yourself checked regularily as you loose.

Imagine,

please make sure you are getting enough nourshiment (i.e. protien shakes) and taking a multi-vit - regularly!
