Five Days = Freaking The F Out

I have been fine throughout the whole pre-op process until today. Five days out and I am Freaking Out. Not run away from the hospital or anything, just stressed and scared. Any advice from the veterans?

You will be absolutely fine!

Just keep remembering why you are doing this and that will get you through it.

It's totally fine to be scared... You are making a life changing decision that will affect everything in your life.. But in a great way!

Good luck!

My surgery date was September 24. I was worried also about everything. It is a true life changing thing that you are doing. Just remind yourself that you are starting on the path to better health and take baby steps. Best of luck to you.

Surgury is tomorrow and I'm remarkably calm. Had a little breakdown last weekend, very cathartic. Thanks everyone!
