Lookong For Support

I am new here and nervous! I've heard lots of positive things about the sleeve and negative things. I feel anxious. I am looking for a buddy to talk to who has perhaps already had this surgery done on them.

I was sleeved aug 28th ( One month ago yesterday), I'm healed up and just started soft foods. I'll answer any questions you may have if i can. I've lost 23 lbs so far..Feel great most days, everynow and then i still feel weak. I have no regrets at all, had a good recovery.Keep in touch.

You'll find a lot of mostly positive info around here. Welcome.

hi, not sleeved yet either and am having the same anxiety.

Me too, had my first seminar with the Hollywood Bariatric Center and they were awesome. Scheduled for my first consult with he doctor and before it was an idea I had and now it's forging into a reality but knowing that being díabetic and obese will knock forty years off my life is motivation enough to get with this vsg program. I just got married and have a son in college , many more years to live but not if I don't do this right. So don't fear, do the research and know that this surgery will save your life. Yes yoy lay or may not have complications but not the ones you'll have if you become diabetic, with high blood pressure and high cholesterol.... Heart attack waiting to happen.
