Mine was 32 on surgery day (7/31). Progress is good but super slow. I was 188 and am 169 now...

Just 2 days pre-op of liquids. My goal is 130-140 but I still can't see that happening. I have never been that small. I've been in my second stall and just want to see the scale moving again!

I know you didn't ask this question - but you might want to read up on the risk of complications for a conversion from band to sleeve. Leaks and excessive bleeding are the two main ones and if you are unlucky enough to experience either of them - it will negatively impact your life for months. If you are not having any problems with the band, it is just something to think about if it is worth the risk.

Having said that, I converted from band to sleeve (my BMI was over 50!) and had no complications. It is an individual decision if the risk is worth it.

Thank you. I am still in the thinking process.

I was a BMI of 32 on Aug 27, had lap band but got a sleeve. Has been real slow. Only 12 lost since then. Still getting used to it.

Thank you. Hang in there

  • 2 weeks later...

I went from being very succesful with the band then ermegently lost the band -2 yrs later got the sleeve and my BMI was at 34- I have had the sleeve for 6 months and lost 20 pounds

I eat more then the 1 cup rule-maybe 2 cups

I am so frustrated
