Of course not. My DH is banded....he just doesn't do message boards. I suspect there are a lot more like him, too.

Hello,

I am a man. All seems to be going well. Going for my third fill this week. Let me know if you have any questions especially " man questions"

Peace

I'm a guy. I was banded last Tuesday. Everyone seems to recover differently. I, for example, am still having lots of shoulder pain from the gas they use for insufflation. Icy-Hot patches and lying on my right side seem to help though. Surgery itself was a breeze. Congratulations on your decision, I am sure you will do fine. Good luck to you.

Guy here. I'm just starting the process, but hope to be banded in November. My insurance will pay pretty much no questions asked with a 40 BMI (and I'm VERY close), and a co-worker of mine had the bypass within 2 months of being eligible through the insurance.

I'm crossing my fingers!

Hi Tiredepot, I was banded August 24th and it is amazing what happens. I am getting my first fill next Monday so I am excited about the next stage. welcome to BandLand

Welcome to BandLand....

get in, sit down, buckle up, and HANG ON!!!!!

Thanks! I'll keep the forum informed as I make my way through the process.

Hope I don't get derailed along the way!
