In July my weight was 300.0 ... Im 5'9". August 30 started my pre-op diet at 294. My surgery was Friday September 14 at 08:00 and this morning, Tuesday Sept 18 i weigh 274.8! Trying to get in the Clear Liquids 30cc at a time and doing well. I can only get up to walk; no reaching or bending/squatting or i get terribly dizzy and nauseated. Diet consists of room temp crystal light, room temp Water, and warm chicken broth. I think i am doing really well considering i only need my pain medicine about every 8 hours.

Yesterday, i went with my mom to Walmart. I rode the handicap cart and kept a nausea pill in my pocket just in case... But i didnt need it. I was glad to get out of the house!! Dr visit is next Tuesday so i guess ill update by then. I sure hope my sleeve friends on here are doing well too!!

Hi. My name is Jenny. I had my sleeve on Monday the 17th. I'm still having pain in my incision site. Are you?? Also did your doctor tell u to start drinking Protein drinks? My dr didn't say anything? I'm new here. Looking for some help.

I have some discomfort around the incision but im only taking my pain meds every 12 hours or so. I was up too much yesterday tho, i was concerned about Protein but a lady from hospital called to check on me and when i asked she said no protein until i see dr... I even asked about the clear Protein Shots. So since the 15th, all i have had is crystal light, Water, 99% fat free chicken broth and sugar free Jello. My dr appt is Tuesday so im just going to continue clear liquids until then. I could start full liquids today, one week out, but im scared. And the only thing negative besides the occasional discomfort in my abdomen, is that i get dizzy if im up too long, which is what happened yesterday. Wish i could help! Ill let you know what my doc says when i see him!!

Wow good for you! That's great. I haven't weighed myself yet. I want to wait til my 10 day post op appt. I hear so many different diets on here. My doctor has me on clear liquids for 2 weeks. Each phase is 2 weeks for the sleeve. But I'm ok with it. He said this phase I can still have sugars. It's the second phase that I have to watch them so I've been having Popsicles and regular Jello. Not really getting a lot of fluids down though. About 32oz a day. Any suggestions on how to get more down quicker? I feel like its gonna come up when I drink more.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
