What was ur liquid diet? I think it all Depends on how much u weigh as well. I started liquids on sept 2 and cheated about 2-3 times and I'm down 8 lbs. but I also started at 278. My liquid diet is very strict. shakes and Water only. Did u get ur 64oz of Water a day?

I'm getting sleeved tomorrow too! I'm VERY nervous! I was on a 14 day pre-op diet and only lost 12lbs, if that makes you feel bette I guess that is pretty normal.

Good Luck! :o)

My liquid diet was broth SF Jello, 3 property shakes a day Water crystal light etc.I p tribally screwed up with not getting 64 Oz of water on to of the rest of the fluids but the nut told me all liquids counted.8 started at243 in July at my first meeting.began Protein increase and no sugar and carbs right away.was at 230 at preadmission testing and now at 222. Oh well, just hope they are satisfied with this loss tomorrow.just don't want them to send me home...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
