Chocolate Covered Bacon

Never even heard of such a thing before in my life. But I was at a flea market today and this lady was making some so we bought a piece. I ate a tiny little bite and yes, it tasted exactly how it sounds. If you like chocolate (yes) and you like bacon (yes yes) it's good. In my past life I would have bought every piece she had, but I took my little bite and got out of there.

Went home and grilled some stuffed jalapeños with shrimp and fat free cream cheese....yum yum. Also had a couple of bites of veggie chips and homemade guacamole. I love it that I can eat sensibly and still enjoy it.

Stuffed jalapenos with shrimp and cream cheese sounds pretty yum. I will have to try that when I get back to solids! I was afraid I wouldn't be able to tolerate anything spicy again so I hope that isn't the case bc I love spicy food.

So, chocolate and bacon is indeed very yummy. When I was a kid my great grandmother used to make chocolate gravy on Christmas and Easter. I LOVED dipping my bacon in the chocolate. Best combo ever! I'm very thankful that I don't know how to cook chocolate gravy or biscuits.

When I was last visiting the USA someone gave me chocolate covered bacon and I have to say I was disturbed by it! It got worse though when we were then offered bacon flavoured jelly Beans.

Not for me.
