My Update

well I guess it's time I post something about my journey instead of just looking at all the posts :) my surgery was 8/22 all went well in terms of the surgery. it took me about 9 hours to come

out of the anesthesia but it was my first time going under so now I know!! I had horrible nausea the first two days. my doc gave me 3 doses of reglan and I was so much better and I haven't needed anything else.

I'm a little over two weeks out and I feel great. I'm able to get my liquids and Proteins on most days but I really have to try and remember to eat everything I need in a day! I'm going back to work Monday. I've lost 31 lbs so far including pre

op diet. I am not going to weigh myself again until my 1 month follow up but my clothes are loose and I notice a difference in my face !! I actually fit into a t shirt that was a size lg. normally I am a 2X so I'm wearing that shirt everyday because it's so amazing lol!!!!

My rings are getting loose and I love it! I did get a little discouraged about two days ago when my hands were swollen and I felt bloated then surprise surprise it's my TOM which hasn't happened in 8 months which explains the swelling (and my cravings hahah).

it's been a good journey so far. not easy, but good. looking forward to so much more!!!
