Help in SC -- fill closed up

Help-- I was banded July 10th by Dr. Ortiz in Mexico--went back for the first fill on August 25th. 2cc on smaller band.

At first everything was fine. I certainly had restriction but could eat mushy foods. Over the past 3 weeks it has gradually tightened up and since Friday I have not been able to keep even Water down.

Does anyone know a doctor that is in driving distance from Columbia SC where I can get an un-fill tomorrow.

I have almost constant nasuea and pain. I hope that the band hasn't slipped but I would give my right arm for a glass of water!

Get an unfill fast. Call Dr. Ortiz for a referral or see if you can find someone at the fill center usa. I don't remember the website for that but I am sure you'll find it if you google it.

Ditto what housecatgirl said. Also, I have heard that in an extreme situation, you can go to the emergency room for an unfill too.

when you are unable to even drink water you have a total gastric obstruction that needs to be taken care of ASAP; go to the ER!!!!
