Anyone Experience Reflux?

Hey there, Im new here. I was sleeved on August 23 2012! So far 16 lbs gone! Anyway, everytime I take anything in (water, protein shakes, soups) i get this horrible reflux, at least I think its reflux, its like i take a sip, my stomach bubbles up an then i feel it come back up slightly with some belch. Is this normal? Thanks in advance!

I was sleeved May 7th. That is completely normal. It will get better!! I still have some reflux but not half as bad as it was the 1st and 2nd month. I panicked 2 but I promise, it gets better. :)

Thank god. I've been pretty down this past week (granted I've only been sleeved a week), but was terrified the reflux and pain every hour would be permanent. :(

Was sleeved on Friday and have been having the same problems with reflux, and spasms, I think. It is so bad that I'm not able to get in enough fluids (24 oz yesterday, and that was tough) or proteins. I've got a call into the surgeon's office now... I wonder if going from 1 to 2 protonix will help. I had spasms (located about mid breast bone) that woke me at 5 am even though I'm sleeping with my head and chest elevated. How are the rest of you able to get in fluids and proteins with the reflux?
