Pizza!

tried pizza for the first time since my sleeve.. oh my!!... I'm 6 weeks out and promised myself a treat.... i had half a small slice of just cheese with no crust and i cut it up in small pieces totaled about 4-6ounces i dipped it in sauce just in case.. i chewed each small piece very well and took my time.. was scared but all went ok i did get full right away and my stomach gurgled as it went down.. but such a milestone for me.. being that i had lots of complications early on yay me.. all i can say is yum yum yum.

Ha ha ha, a no dough pizza. That's great. Sounds like you enjoyed your 6 week celebration. I really like meat sauce w/o spaghetti.

I make homemade pizzas on lite pitas for the crust. I Used to make em before surgery. My family loves them. I'll be 6 weeks post op in a week, can't wait to make one. I make a butternut squash sauce and use all fresh veges for toppings. Toast it in the conv oven or a toaster oven. So YUMMY!!!
