The first 5 days were rough for me. I wont lie. I was in lots of pain.

9 days post op and I feel good hardly anymore pain.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm doing great on the soft foods stage. Since I've hit that, I've been losing a pound a day! The only remaining issue I have is the pain in my left side. It's pretty constant when I'm moving. I asked my surgeon and he said it was due to the stitches he place in the muscle. As soon as they dissolve, I should be good.

I was August 21st. I was losing a pound a day, and then I started soft food and I'm stuck. Argggh! I hope I won't be some wierd exception to the rule.
