The coordinator just called and let me know that I was approved!!! She said she had a bunch of people waiting for her with appointments etc. but she wanted to let me know that the approval went through and she would be calling me back later to schedule the surgery etc.

So excited, just had to share! :D :D :D :D

I have the open plan and they only required 3 months of diet the protocol changed in July do you may want to call and recheck? Maybe you can push it up a few months.

Cigna did change their policy effective 5/15/12 to be only 3 months of physician supervised doctor visits; however, your particular plan with your employer or private plan supercedes the Cigna record. So, if your particular plan requires 6 months that would supercede the 3 month process. You will want to call Cigna, provide them with your ID & group # and inquire about your personal plan. Just to avoid any confusion.
