Help...eating Soft Foods But...

Having a hard time eating even 2 oz of chicken breast. Chewing to applesauce consistency but filling quickly. Know I need to get my proteins. What else should I do? Tuna goes down much better.

My doc said do dark meat instead of white. Try making chicken salad if you must have white meat.

If tuna works, stick with tuna. I've found that I just have to take my time if I am going to get the protein I need and wean off of protein shakes. Today I had three egg whites but it took me well over an hour to finish them. I'd eat, feel sated, wait a while and eat again. I need the protein to keep up with my activities. Don't rush it. You can always come back to it later.
