First Time Poster

I discovered this site a day or two before my procedure. What took me so long? Since then it's been a tremendous resource. Sincere thanks to all that take time to share on this site.

I've put a short version of my experience on my blog: Water? That's a challenge for me so far.

Lastly, things I miss - being able to chug water when I am thirsty and toast with my egg. Crazy huh?

Those that have been at this a while - what do you miss the most?

The pain should dissipate as the days go by...that pain sounds normal to me. Water, at first, is very difficult. Just keep drinking sips most of the day. Eventually you'll be able to take bigger drinks and get more water in. At the beginning, I would be so relieved to go to bed at night to be able to stop sipping! :) It gets so much easier and much more normal as time goes by. Missing toast with your egg isn't crazy! It took me about a month to get over my cravings. I honestly at this point don't miss anything from my former life - I'm SO happy with how my eating is now and my weight loss and how good I feel!

Take care!
