Day three post op and I have a bit of gas but much clearer in the head. I have walked around house alot today and took a small nap. Feeling pretty good. Port is a bit tender but liquid extra strentgh tylenol works good. Have not had to use the prescription pain meds at all. Alot of gas "movement". Thanks so much for all those prayers and good words of encouragement, It meant the world to me to read all those!!:sleep

Thanks for posting and letting us know how you are doing. I am glad everything went well. It sounds like you are doing well and it is good you don't have to use the prescription pain meds, but they are there if you need them. I tell ya, I found that the liquid tylenol works better for me than the pills ever did. My hubby agrees!

I had my lap band put on on Tuesday of this week. Everything appears to be just fine. Not too much discomfort. Got out of hospital on Wednesday afternoon. Dr. Hennigan did a fine job.

I had my band placed on 9/12/06 at Bassett in Cooperstown and am very pleased that there is very little discomfort. Got out of hospital on Wednesday and am looking forward to loosing the 80 pounds I need to.
