Drinking Fluids

I started my full liquids today. They told me that an oz of fluid should last 15 mins to teach me how to sip instead of gulp. How long will i have to drink like this? i feel like i could drink more in 15 mins than an oz. I have had no nausea or vomiting. Any advice or info is appreciated!

I have been able to drink more than an ounce every 15 minutes. My doctor said that I should take sips and as I feel appropriate I can drink. I usually am able to drink a full pint of water in 45 minutes. Granted I don't drink for a while after, but I am able to do it with no negative feelings at all. I started full fluids today too. :) good luck!
