Eating Is Miserable!

I was sleeved on May 21st. I am off all food restrictions. I really need to eat more than I do. A couple of small spoonfuls of something, and I am BEYOND full. I don't want to live the rest of my life on supplemental protein shakes. When I eat...it makes me feel just ugh. Not sick..just the feeling of...I would rather not eat again for the rest of the day.

Will I be able to tolerate more food as time passes? Or are there any tricks to help me get in a little more food? I eat healthy and follow all the rules.

I was sleeved July 3, 20102, so I don't have all the answers. I am guessing that yes, you will be able to tolerate more foods. As for me, I eat because I have to. No meal excites, me, but I need the nourishment. How ironic that my biggest problem is not getting ENOUGH calories??!!

I wonder if something else is going on. It seems you should be able to eat more that you can. I had surgery June 5th and I personally know 2 others who did too and we all eat more than you do at this point. You might think about running this by your doctor. Good luck to you!
