Hi there. My name is Dana and I am 39. I just made my first appt for a VSG. Here is some info about me. I am a SAHM mom to 3 kids under 6 all with special needs. My BMI is 0ver 41, but I do no habe any comorbities. My DH had LapBand last year and he is getting it removed and getting a VSG too. I need to live as long as I can to care for my kids. I know I can do this, and I have to. I have never believed in weight loss surgery, but, I am at a point where I realize that I need the help. I can do the work I just need the support.

I am hoping that I can get the surgery before year end, but we shall see. Anyway, thnk you for all the info I have found here. It has helped a lot!!
