July 25, 201214 yr Stopping smoking starts over tomorrow. Not gunna beat myself up because this is fricking HARD!!! Just pick myself off dust off the smoke and ash and start over. :-/
July 25, 201214 yr I know it's tough. I smoked a pack a day for 13 or more years. I started only taking half a pack with me during the day and then went down to just a few a day. Haven't had a smoke in about 6 weeks now. So good luck keep us posted on your progress.
July 25, 201214 yr It's a hard road. Be proud of yourself that you have the strength to start over =) You can do it!
July 25, 201214 yr You can do it! Better to quit while you're still relatively healthy. My mom didn't quit until she was diagnosed with emphysema. Unfortunately, she didn't quit in time to avoid lung cancer. I know you have family and friends that love you. Think about them when you get the urge to smoke. Believe me, I wish my mom quit before smoking killed her. Hang in there.
July 25, 201214 yr Author Thanks. My grandma smoked, was obese, diabetic, and on oxygen when she passed. My mom was obese, then had the rny surgery. I'm obese and at high risk for diabetes. I am trying so hard. My downfall is that I can't smack my coworker who is causing me an extream amount of stress. *sigh* oh to daydream.
